For this week's Big Tent Poetry Promp , we were asked to write a poem about "things in mason jars". I chose to write about fireflies.
Firefly
summer breeze
in the night,
flickers of light
dancing in the sky.
girls dressed in white
catching the little suns
in their mason jars
in their backyard,
Let your light shine on.
