Esther Havens has worked with lots of charities including Charity Water, Toms Shoes, and A Glimmer of Hope as a humanitarian photographer. She takes amazing photos of charity work around the world. What I find inspiring about her is the way she takes the photo. Her images are always thoughtful and hopeful. She also is a humanitarian, herself, helping spread the word of the charities that she works for. For example, her blog post for today, asks her subscribers to join the 1 to 1000 campaign with The Adventure Project (click here to view) that helps the farmers in Africa. I encourage you to stop by her blog, to see more photos of her adventures, join the 1 to 1000 as well - if you like and learn more about her. She is truly an inspiring person.

So what inspires you about Esther Havens? Does she remind you of someone you've met before? Does the post remind you of a volunteer opportunity you took part in? What about the photos? What memories does it bring to mind? Write a story or poem that is inspired by her, her work , or the photo posted and link up. Can't think of anything to write? Post your recent poem or story.

Looking forward to reading your posts.
