adventure was his drug,
his moped, his notebook, his camera,
and his sweet wife were his companions.
A lonely life for the two some may say,
but for him
Observing the majesty of foreign landscapes,
meeting so many new faces, and
helping others as a volunteer in humanitarian agencies,
with his love by his side
was a wine he was grateful to taste.
And whenever asked, she would agree and say that
living a life she loves in the midst of youth,
with him as her companion
was a blessing and a dream they both savored , each day.
