Morning walk

Giorgio de Chirico, Mystery and Melancholy of a Street

Dreams like tender notes in the wind
swept away the rusty old torments and scars
that were crawling in her head the day before.

Pleasure arises with the morning sun.
Prophets may wonder what philosophy
is cemented in her being that keeps her joyful
as she walks on the streets of melancholy and mystery
but dreamers, like herself, have always known the answer.
It is simply the art of faith, love, hope, and peace.
