Cracked Lense

Broken Glass Texture by d o l f i
Broken Glass Texture, a photo by d o l f i on Flickr.
The lies you've told lie hidden no more.
The promises you said you would keep
lie shattered in the wind.

How many more lies you've told
that still lay unearthed - I do not know-
but the trust I had in you has shattered.

The way I see you is no longer the same.
It will remain changed forever.
The dusty craked lense has been replaced.
I see you as you really are
- through a lense that is clear and new...
and who I see I no longer recognize.
