Sing!

A voice is heard
above the chaos,
-cracked but firm
-with a melody
unknown to all.
It rises above
the crowd.

All are stunned
into silence,
all but the one with
a voice of love
-singing out loud

-singing for all to hear
of the love she has found
among the rumble,

-singing a grateful tune,
-singing of a new beginning,
-rejoicing as she holds
her beloved once again.
