Colors of Spring
red, orange, yellow,
green, blue, indigo and violet
- the colors of a rainbow,
- the colors of Spring.


red-the color of the freshly picked strawberries
on our kitchen table


orange- the color of the sun at sunset


yellow- the color of the daffodils
in our back yard.


green- the color of the leaves on the tree
 outside our window


blue- the color of my husband's eye


indigo- the color of the flowers planted
in our window box


and..


violet- the color of the pillows
on our front porch swing


- a rainbow of colors that  all
remind me of you and
the blessings
 heaven has poured  on us
