Wheat Field with Rising Sun, Vincent Van Gogh, 1889.
prompt for Magpie Tales.
I light a candle for all those who hunger
for love, for hope, for peace, for faith.
I light a candle for those who are weary and overburdened,
who have lit their candle at both ends for far too long.
May a new sun rise on their day,
May they have the support they crave
and the strength they need.
May the fields they tend
grow a bounty of blessings
for them and all their loved ones.
My candle burns for all those in need.
May the light of the rising sun shine on all
and warm their hearts with love.
