Music Visualizations, Synchoric Orchestra dancing Schubert's...,
a photo by New York Public Library on Flickr.
she felt had always been
under construction,
a dance in the making,
a portrait unfinished .
For there always seem to be
something missing.
by Rosie Hardy |
So she crafted her life,
then edited a few things,
and tried again
until one day the dance
she dreamed of dancing
was complete.
the canvas she painted
was full of vibrant colors.
The life she wanted was here.
by Rosie Hardy |
She realized though,
that although she was grateful
for the life she now had
and the one before,
her life will always be under construction,
for she will always be under construction
- as we all are.

Notes:
Am sad to see One Stop Poetry close up shop, am grateful for all the hard work that everyone has done there. I am wishing all of them, all the best. I am glad that some of the people from One Stop are opening up a place called dVerse for all of us to gather and read poetry. Best of Luck to all. Also glad Rosie Hardy has been chosen for One Shoot, love her work. I have a photo of hers I got from Tweety Got Back ( @tweetygotback) for my twitter wallpaper and I love it.
Prompt Notes: Submitted to dVerse , One Shoot Sunday, Sepia Saturday , and Poets United. Stop by and join the fun.
